New FTU Tut!!! My Pastel Heart!!!

What you’ll need:

(PSP Xii Used)

Scraps FTU Pastel Valentine by Brandie’s Eye Candies

Mask of Choice

Drop Shadow of choice

Tube of choice

Font of Choice. I used PhoenixScript Upright

Filters Needed:

Eye Candy 5 Impact Gradient Glow

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

Let’s get started!

Open a new image. File>New> 700x500. White background. . Selectio08s>Select All or CTRL-A, Layers>New Raster Layer. Open a Paper from the kit. I chose PP11. Edit>Copy or CTRL-C. Go back to your tag window. Edit>Paste Into Selection or CTRL-SHIFT-L. Selections>Select .None or CTRL-D. Layers>Load/Save Mask>Choose your mask. Left click on your mask layer in your layers palette. Click Merge group. Resize if needed.

Choose frame4. Add in. Deform a bit. Place as shown. Place as shown and drop shadow. Merge this with the frame. Then use your magic wand and select all inside the frame. Expand it by 8. Copy and paste as a new layer the paper of your choice. I chose PP4. Invert selection and delete. Deselect. Move under both frame. Drop shadow the frame.

Add in tube. Conform as needed inside the frame.

Add in corset. Resize by 39%. Rotate 10 degrees to the right. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in bow1. Resize by 42%. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in flowers1 and 2. Resize the first by 39% and the other by 35%. Arrange as shown and drop shadow each. Add in heartcharm1. Resize by 39%. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in stardoodle1. Resize by 39%. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in ribbon1. Resize by 79%. Mirror and place as shown. Drop shadow. Add in star3. Resize by 39%. Place as shown. Select a portion of the star and promote to layer. Move under ribbon layer and delete the original selection. Deselect. Add in glitterbits. Duplicate and arrange as shown.

Make your background color a pink from the tag and the foreground color a purple from th tag. Add the following Eye Candy 5 Impact Gradient Glow:

Drop shadow.

Add in your copyrights.

Click Merge group. Resize if needed.

Choose frame03. Add in. Rotate it 10 degrees to the left. Place as shown. Place as shown and drop shadow. Merge this with the frame. Then use your magic wand and select all inside the frame. Expand it by 8. Add a new raster layer. Copy/paste into selection paper of choice. I chose P21. Deselect. Move under both frame. Drop shadow the frame.

Add in tube. Conform as needed inside the frame. Drop shadow.

Add in pillow. Resize by 79%. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in ribbon03. Rotate 20 degrees to the left. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in loveletter. Resize by 59%. Rotate 20 degrees to the right. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in ivy. Place as shown. Duplicate and mirror. Merge together and drop shadow. Add in glitter01. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in handcuffs. Resize by 49%. Place as shown and drop shadow.

Make your text color a nice brighter pink from the tag. Type out text. Convert to raster. Use the following Eye Candy 3 glass settings:

Drop shadow.

Add in your copyrights.

Add a new raster layer. Copy/paste into selection paper of choice. I chose PP13. Deselect. Move under both frame. Drop shadow the frame.

Add in tube. Conform as needed inside the frame. Drop shadow.

Add in WA1. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in vine. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in stars. Place as shown and add a small drop shadow. Add in rose1. Resize by 42%. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in ribbon2. Resize by 79%. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in swirl1. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in heart1. Resize by 29%. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in heart2. Resize 39%. Place as shown. Duplicate and mirror. Arrange as shown and merge together. Drop shadow. Add in flowers2. Resize by 49%. Place as shown and drop shadow. Arrange any parts in the way. Add in glitterbits. Place as shown. Duplicate mirror and flip.

Make your text color a nice lighter pink from the tag. Type out text, convert to raster and drop shadow.

Add in your copyrights.

Go back to your tag window. Edit>Paste Into Selection or CTRL-SHIFT-L. Selections>Select .None or CTRL-D. Layers>Load/Save Mask>Choose your mask. Left click on your mask layer in your layers palette. Click Merge group. Resize if needed.

Add a new raster layer. Copy/paste into selection paper of choice. I chose paper01. Deselect. Move under both frame. Drop shadow the frame.

Add in tube. Conform as needed inside the frame.

Add in wrap03. Resize by 86%. Deform a bit to fit. Add in wireheart01. Resize by 79%. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in swirl01. Resize by 79%. Place as shown and place as small drop shadow. Add in both roses. Resize each by 69%. Drop shadow each and arrange as shown. Add in pearls01. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in flowerpot03. Resize by 59%. Rotate 10 degrees to the left. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in flowers02. Place as shown and drop shadow. Add in two of the bears of your choice. Resize, rotate and arrange to your liking. Drop shadow. Add in wirehearttag02 as shown. Drop shadow.

Make the tag layer active. Make the text color a nice lighter pink from the tag. Type out the first initial. Convert to raster and conform to the tag. Use the following Eye Candy 5 Impact Bevel settings:

Now use your second font. Make your text color white. Type out the text. Convert to raster and drop shadow.

Add in your copyrights.
